The environmental, nutritional, social and managerial
changes that happen during the weaning period are a real
challenge for piglets, and they can cause severe health
problems for the animals. In order to prove that medium
chain fatty acids are worthy alternatives to be used against
these problems, in this article Wouter Naeyaert and Gil
De Clercq, Product Managers at Nuscience, will share the
results of field trials carried out in different countries and
involving 5244 piglets of different genetics.
